About Terri Lynn Bene
Terri Lynn Bene was born on a military base and moved thirteen times in her first thirteen years, which is why she has lived in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies in a family-built log cabin for the past thirty-five years. After forty years of college exploring numerous educational directions—philosophy, computer science, accounting, writing, art, engineering graphics, and math—Bene temporarily settled down and graduated with a degree in Psychology at the age of sixty. She is also the proud mother of seven grown children and six grandchildren. Terri Lynn Bene is the award-winning author of the Always book series and the co-author of The Gift of Haley. A lover of all animals, Bene has a special fondness for Labrador Retrievers. When she is not writing, Bene loves to hike, bike, paint, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
